Assessment is competency based and evidence based, so you will be required to demonstrate evidence of your ability to perform the tasks required and the knowledge required to complete the units of competency and to apply these in the workplace.
TAESS00015 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set
There are no formal prerequisite units required to study this skill set.
However, it is recommended you have the opportunity in the workplace to gather your evidence for successful completion and have the support of a training professional who has prior knowledge within the VET sector and preferably holds the current TAE qualification to support your successful completion.
TAE UPGRADES:
You must hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Previous qualifications are no longer current and cannot be upgraded. You may be able to apply for partial RPL If you are still working or affiliated to the VET sector. Call to discuss this option with one of our qualified trainers and assessors.
5 Day Introductory Health & Safety Representatives Training Course
This course aims to give safety and health representative, supervisors, manager and others, the basic knowledge and skills to perform their roles and functions under legislation. Elected representatives are entitled to have time off with pay to attend this course. It is mandatory that the employer pay all costs associated with attending this course.

Those entering this program must be able to demonstrate vocational competency in their proposed teaching and assessing area. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
